Eager to attend another one of Bash Halow’s veterinary education programs?  Bash will be at the following locations in 2020.  Please follow his Facebook page and Twitter for updates on additional conferences or the material that he’ll be presenting. Look forward to seeing you in 2020!

(Shown above, my organic Honey Please Lip Balm.  I make it from the wax of my bees that I have on my farm and give it out free to attendees. It was a big hit with 2019 audiences!)

SPVS-VMG Congress

January 24-25th

Celtic Manor, Wales, UK

This will be my sixth trip to the UK to do education for our friends across ‘the pond’.  This congress is always packed with terrific education.  Treat yourself!  I fly Norwegian from the NY metro area (incredibly affordable and the service is great), land in London, and then take the train to the conference in Wales.  If you’ve never been, you’ll love it. Wales, even in January, is still very green.  During your off time, enjoy the grounds of the amazing Celtic Manor where the event is located and the many Roman ruins that dot the surrounding area.  This trip is also a chance for you to enjoy the Manor’s unmatched ‘English breakfast’ and the spontaneous singing that invariably fills the Manor’s bar in the wee hours of the morn.

Cleveland Academy of Veterinary Medicine

March 11th, 2020

Cleveland, OH

I’ll present 4 hours of material to the associate veterinarians of the Cleveland Academy of Veterinary Medicine on March 11th.  Topics will include the Future of Veterinary Medicine, America’s Best Practices, and Effective Communication for Veterinary Professionals. The entire series will offer 3.5 hours of RACE credit in the non-medical category.

Delaware Veterinary Medical Association

March 20th, 2020

RESCHEDULED OCTOBER 2nd, 2020

Bethany Beach, MD

This is my second trip back to speak at the DVMA.  In March, we’ll have a whole day dedicated to practice management.  If you’re worried about attending a conference at the beach in late winter, don’t!  Bethany could very well be quite mild near the end of March, but if not, the indoor SALT WATER pool is heated!  See you there!

FetchDVM360

Baltimore, Kansas City, San Diego, 2020

Every year I have the great privilege to speak at these three amazing conferences.  In 2020, the conference dates are:

The FetchDVM360 conferences are some of our country’s best, with speakers from around the world on a diverse array of medical and management topics.  Best of all, the Fetch admin team provides attendees a chance to learn inside a larger environment of camaraderie, wellness, nutritious food, and classrooms that are primed for learning. I’ll be at all three conferences in 2020.

About Baltimore

Baltimore is an historic town dating back before the 18th Century and the heart of the city is full of great history and architecture.  We’ll be in the Inner Harbor, a beautiful waterside event space with amazing dining options, plenty of places to stroll, and super accommodations.

About Kansas City

If you’ve never been to Kansas City, you’re missing out.  This town is progressive!   The conference is right in the middle of downtown and very close to the Power and Light District where we usually end up partying for at least one night.  You can rent scooters or bikes too, both of which make for fast, easy transportation to anywhere you’d like to explore!

About Indianapolis

More than just a Speedway, Indianapolis is emerging as a major mid-west destination for conferences.  Great restaurants, an eclectic downtown and nightlife, safety, and proximity to the airport combine to make this venue an excellent source for your next round of DVM360 veterinary continuing education.

About San Diego

San Diego is a sparkling, beautiful city.  The conference, only 15 minutes from the airport by taxi, is located just across the street from the city’s famous Gas Lamp District and only a mile from the town’s Little Italy.  Great shopping and dining all the way around, plus you’ll be right on the marina!  Scooter rentals make navigation everywhere effortless!

Veterinary Hospital Managers Association

September 10th-12th

Orlando, Florida

The VHMA is especially dear to me.  Over the years this group has supplied me with courage, knowledge, support and, most importantly, close friends.  If you are a manager dedicated to excellence and eager to learn, there is no better conference for you than the annual VHMA, which will be held in Orlando in 2020.  Pack the kids and come along for exceptional practice management education and about half of your required CVPM educational credits.

New England Veterinary Medical

September 24th-27th

Portland, Maine

Please join me at this inspirational conference located in beautiful, seaside Portland, Maine.  I’ll be doing two, full days for this conference, just like I did a few years ago.  Be sure to save room for some ‘Lob-Stah’; you can walk right down to the wharf and order some fresh along with a cold beer!

Atlantic Coast Veterinary Conference

October 26th-29th, 2020

Atlantic City, NJ

The ACVC was the very first veterinary conference I ever attended, so you can imagine how thrilled I was to be asked to speak at this event for the second time!  In 2020, I’ll be doing tracks on telemedicine as well as sharing some of our industry’s latest key performance indicators.  Join me for the newest information in veterinary practice management along with breakout discussion groups and audience-wide polling.  Oh, and don’t forget money for the slot machines!
